Student accommodation furniture packages from Turkey: studio and cluster room packs

Student accommodation furniture from Turkey comes as room packs: one for the cluster bedroom, one for the studio, and one for the communal kitchens and lounges. Rovers prices each pack with the Turkish partner factories that make beds, mattresses, case goods and contract upholstery, builds a sample studio for approval, then makes, inspects, ships and installs by block and floor (in the US: manufactured and delivered).

Sheet SC-13Reviewed Rovers Contract

Student accommodation furniture from Turkey is built in the same bed, mattress and case-goods factories that furnish hotels. A purpose-built student studio is close to an economy hotel room: a bed, a desk, storage, a chair and a small kitchen, repeated hundreds of times. Rovers prices the student version as room packs, approves a sample studio before production, and delivers by block and floor so rooms are ready for the start of term.

Built for heavy use

Student rooms are used hard and turned over every year. No single standard covers that, so it goes into the shop drawings as a buyer specification:

  • Wardrobes and tall units fixed to the wall or fitted with anti-tip fittings.
  • Solid or thick ABS edges on desk tops and carcasses, where knocks land.
  • Metal or reinforced bed frames, and drawers on heavy-duty runners.
  • Fabrics with a high rub count and removable covers on communal seating.
  • Spare doors, drawer fronts and fabric from the same batch, held for repairs.

Replacement cycles

Operators fund replacement from a sinking fund per bed. Mattresses and communal seating wear out first; case goods last longest. Rovers keeps the approved codes, finishes and shop drawings for every pack, so a mattress or chair re-ordered years later matches the rooms it goes into.

Sample studio and delivery

  1. Shop drawings per room type are approved.
  2. Finish samples are signed: carcass, door fronts, worktop, fabric.
  3. A sample studio and a cluster bedroom are built from production materials and reviewed.
  4. Production runs from the signed sample; every piece is checked before packing.
  5. Packing and labels follow block, floor and room, in the order the building is handed over.

Furniture made in Turkey reaches the UK and most of the EU by road. Outside the US, Rovers installs by floor and closes a snag list per room. In the US, Rovers manufactures and delivers, and the owner’s installer fits the rooms.

What to send us

Send the room-type drawings and the room count per type, the communal-area layouts, the city and the date the building must be ready. With no drawings yet, the room mix and a reference image of the target room are enough for a first priced pack.
