Replacing furniture while the hotel is open
A refit starts with a survey of the rooms as they stand today: wall lengths, socket and switch positions, door swings, and how the old pieces are fixed. Room types that look the same on the old drawings often differ on site, so the shop drawings are made from the survey, not from the original set.
The factory makes the order in the same blocks you close. Each block is packed by floor and room, crated in the order the fitters work, and labelled with the room number, so nothing sits in the corridor waiting to be sorted. Removing and disposing of the old furniture is by others unless the scope includes it. In the US the scope is manufactured and delivered; elsewhere our team also installs.
Your spec, not ours
Operators already hold a spec for guestrooms and public areas: materials, finishes, hardware, fire tests and durability tests. We build to it. Where the spec names a test, the test is booked on the build that will ship and priced as a line on the quote. Where the spec is silent, we propose a material or fitting and mark it on the shop drawing for your approval before anything is cut.
