Hotel furniture from Turkey: how Turkish hotel FF&E is made, priced and delivered

Turkey makes hotel furniture in large clusters around İnegöl in Bursa, Kayseri and Istanbul, and its furniture, paper and forest products sector exported about $8.0 billion in 2025. It sits in a customs union with the EU for industrial goods and reaches the Gulf by road or sea. Rovers takes a hotel FF&E package from drawings or BOQ, prices every line with the Turkish partner factory that fits the project, and answers for it until handover.

Sheet SC-04Reviewed Rovers Contract

Hotel furniture from Turkey is made to drawings in factories that build casegoods, upholstery, joinery and metal work for hotels in Europe, the Gulf and beyond. Buyers come for three reasons: the production depth, the distance to their site, and the trade terms. Rovers takes the whole FF&E package and prices every line with the Turkish partner factory that fits the project.

Where Turkish hotel furniture is made

Cluster What it is known for
İnegöl, Bursa A furniture town built around the trade: casegoods, upholstery, panel processing, many contract makers. Close to Gemlik port
Kayseri Large-scale panel furniture, sofas and beds; big plants with high-volume lines
Istanbul Design-led workshops and makers in the Masko and Modoko furniture districts; lacquer, veneer, metal and upholstery specialists; Ambarlı port
Ankara (Siteler) A long-standing furniture district with many small and mid-sized workshops

Hotel work needs more than one trade. A guestroom alone can need panel work, solid-wood parts, veneer pressing, lacquer, upholstery, metal and stone. In Turkey these trades sit close together, so a package can be split across makers who each do their part well and still ship from one place.

Product lines

Family Includes
Guestroom casegoods Nightstands, desks, TV units, minibar cabinets, luggage racks, wardrobes
Beds and headboards Bed bases, upholstered or panel headboards, headboard walls with lighting
Seating and upholstery Lounge chairs, desk chairs, sofas, sofa beds, banquettes

The same factories and the same priced schedule also furnish offices, care homes and senior living, the non-medical furniture of hospitals and clinics, and the rooms of modular hotel and student buildings.

Production and finishes

Typical builds: MDF or plywood carcasses; natural veneer, HPL or lacquer faces; solid-wood or ABS edges; CNC cutting and edge-banding; spray booths for lacquer; foam, webbing and contract fabrics for upholstery; powder-coated metal frames and bases; stone and solid-surface tops. Every finish is sampled and approved before production, and the approved sample is the reference at inspection.

How the factory is chosen for each project

No single factory is the best fit for every hotel. A small boutique hotel in lacquer and curved veneer suits a different maker from a large tower in HPL. Rovers reads the BOQ and drawings first, then prices each line with the partner factory that fits it: the right trade, the right capacity for the dates, and a record on similar work. The buyer gets one itemised quote, every line with its unit price and total.

A buyer can check any Turkish exporter for free: the TİM membership lookup by tax number shows which exporters’ association it belongs to.

The process in short

  1. Drawings or BOQ in. Every line read; gaps listed with assumptions.
  2. Priced lines. Unit price and total per line, with the delivery term.
  3. Shop drawings and samples. Approved before anything is cut; a mock-up room where the project needs one.
  4. Production. Rovers on the factory floor, checking against the approved drawings.
  5. Inspection and packing. Every piece checked, packed by floor and room.
  6. Delivery and installation. Installed and handed over outside the US; manufactured and delivered in the US.

What to send us

Send the BOQ or the drawings, the city, the room count per type, the brand standard if the hotel is flagged, and the opening date. With no BOQ, the drawings or just the room count are enough for a first priced schedule.
